Can anyone tell me if it is possible to remove the firing pin from an original 92, without removing bolt?
Iv'e removed a few firing pins from 92's and you have to remove the bolt to get them out.

I`ve been trying to find instructions , but no luck yet. I bought this 92 awhile ago, it has a long rather blunt firing pin that needs to be rounded and reworked a little, does not always fire on first try. Is there detailed instructions somewere?
This should help.

And pay attention to the part about using an empty cartridge when reassembling/replacing the bolt. Do not let the thing fly apart. Regards, Woody

A broken fifing pin can cause missfires and they are easy to break since there is a long section milled out to make room for a retaing pin. Triple K in San Diego use to sell them at a very reasonable price.

Thanks guys, I watched a youtube video about replacing Rossi springs, then went at it. Not really as complicated as it looks.
If you want to attempt to repair or what ever on that firing pin, be very careful. The tip should be hemispherical and highly polished. It should fit the hole closely with no bind and the protrusion should be set at .050 to .055.
If you cannot operate to these specs it might be best to take it to someone. Only a single cross pin holds that pin in place and a pierced primer is nothing to mess with.
