Winchester 535 22 LR ammo

My local Cabelas has the Winchester 525 white box ammo on sale this week. Has anyone shot this stuff? I was planning to go with Federals, but with the Cabelas coupon that just came out and this sale, it will be worthwhile to go with the WW. Suggestions are appreciated.

I haven't bought any .22 LR in quite a few years, I stocked up before I retired. With that said, I don'r remember any problems with W-W .22's.

What is the round count? You have two different numbers listed. If it's the 555 count I had no issues with it. It worked in all my .22s with no problems. But for a little more money the Winchester M22 was a lot more accurate for me. Maybe the Cabela's sales vary by store. But the one by me seems to always run 2,200 rounds of Federal bulk in ammo cans for right under $80. Sometimes it's in Cabela's plastic boxes but more often then not it's in new metal cans. It's worth it to me to buy that over the Winchester.

Had good luck with it when it was the cheapest stuff around, deep hollowpoint on what i had, opened fast and we loved 'em for that reason on gophers.

What was the sale price? I walked by it at Wally World today, passed it up at $24.95 a box.

Price was $16.99 per box. I combined it with the current Cabelas coupon to further increase the savings.
