I had a NOE 360190 mould I picked up here in sale area that was a bugger to get Hornady or Lyman checks on the shank . I tired of wrestling with them and still shaved lead , filling part of lube grooves. So I made a check die from mostly scrap . For the bottom part , old hyd. ram shaft; the disc punch , scrap 4140 chunk;the cup punch, drill rod unhardened .
Works like a champ using a homemade oak maul :)
And they fit good and snug without shaving !
