Picked this mold up to use in my old 03A3. Plan on sizing to .310 and using Lyman Super Moly.

Not looking for speed or power, just good accuracy for plinking and such...anyone reccomend any load data? Anything to know about this bullet? I got a pretty good deal on the mold, so I didn't do much research before buying.

Start a 28 gr 4895 with a 3/4 gr dacron filler and work up in 1/2 gr increments to 32 gr. You will find a good load in that range.

I'll suggest starting 20gr AA5744 and expecting an accurate load in the 22-24gr range. H322 start 26gr and work up expecting accuracy 27-29gr. I don't use filler but do position powder by raising the muzzle.

i'd bet 17 grs of 2400 will make some nice groups too.
or 23 grs of aa-1680.
or the 26 grs of h-322 and a filler is a sweetie.
25 grs of aa-2230 to start.
22 grs of 4227.
these are just the ones i can remember using recently.
there were more h-110,unique,herco,steel,800-x,h-414. i just don't have my notes handy on them.

Thanks for the input guys....I have plenty of 5744 on hand, so will probably start there.
Appreciate the information!

My '67 vintage Remington 700 30-06 likes 29gr AA5744 under the 200gr Saeco #301 in RP cases with F210 match primers. It kicks pretty stoutly, so if you don't have the need to go that fast, try the 22-24gr area for a milder, accurate load.
