Any tips on fire forming new brass (stay same caliber: ex. 06 to 06). Brass will be used to shoot light, "quiet" loads in the same rifle. I usually load some Unique under a 150 grain PB, but we have some new folks in the area and all of my shooting is "unsettling". So......I'll try to break them in easy as they are used to the quiet of the interstate and I'm only a 1/4 mile away. Any special methods will be appreciated. Thanks.

Trail boss is quiet, but I havent used it in 06, only "straight" walled case, 30-30, 45-70, 45acp, 38, 357, and 32-20. The 32-20 about the only thing you hear is the bullet hit the target.

Fast powders and a wax "bullet" seal

When fire forming new brass to a chamber I use minimum powder charge loaded with a light weight bullet from the loading manual.
