I got a 45acp single mould on the way can anyone tell me more about it?
I assume it is blued steel and based on a Lyman 452374?

Not certain, but I believe that Miha only uses aluminum or brass, and this one is probably
anodized aluminum. Yes, based on 374 Lyman, which is nominally 225 gr and this is about
200 with the HP wt loss.

I have a 4 cav version with the Cramer style pins, casts much faster but same high quality
mold and boolit.

I have one just like it, and it is indeed iron. Other than being slower to cast with than multi-cavity molds, I have no complaints about it.

My first mold ;)

It is blued iron. My design (base borrowed from HG#68, nose is my design)

By the way - you can reverse the pin and cast solids with it, too.

AHA!

Facts from the source. I did not know that any of MP molds were iron. Now I do.

I also stand corrected on the shape - although it sure looks like the 374 nose.

Just the first one. I hope he doesn't become world famous and the first mould becomes extremely valuable as I sold mine after getting his brass 2 cavity!

Too late! Miha is already world famous!

At least in the Boolit World. :bigsmyl2:
