What would be a good boolit. And what would be a good load. Never loaded rifle before.
Ashamed to say how many pistol I have cast ,loaded and shot. I'll get blamed for the lead bullet ban. LOL

Started in 67 casting and loading, now got 13 yr. old grandson who likes to reload for me, I watch over him and he is going to wear me out shooting so he can have empty brass to load.:bigsmyl2:

311041 would be a very good bullet and 28 gr of 4895 with a 1/2 to 3/4 gr dacron filler would be a very good load.

In that case try a Lee TL314-90-SWC sized .311 and TL'd in LLA over 3.2 gr of Bullseye. A great plinking and small game load. You and you kids will love it. If you don't want to get the mould and cast your own use Hornady's .32 swaged lead SWCs and size them to .311.
