I am looking for suggestions on a 9mm cast bullet that give the most accuracy. Weve been trying the Lee round nose with one lube groove that drops at about 130 grains. Weve tried 4.5 grains to 5.5 grains of Unique with pour accuracy in a Ruger SR9c. Don't know if we should try the truncated cone or tumble lube next.

I've found the Lee 356-120-TC to be as accurate as any 9mm cast I've used in 40 years. I size at .358 or .357, lube with BAC or Javelina and load it over 4 gr of Bullseye.

My personal favorite is Lee 105 swc sized .357 over 5.2 gr HS-6. If these will feed in your gun, you will likely find them very accurate. They won't feed in a S&W 5906 or a Glock with a Lone Wolf barrel.
Most cast tips will shoot well enough if you really slow them down. Try to keep them under 900 fps. This is frequently way below the starting loads listed in the Lyman cast bullet handbook.

I would try TC nose profile and 125 gr or heaver bullet , sized to fit your barrel from .356 to as large as .360 dia, i personaly use .357 dia in all of my 9mms & 38 supers. also ive found powder in the med to med fast gives the best accuracy in the 9mm & 38 super , with WSF , Power Pistol & HS6 being my favorites.

Thanks guys. This is my son inlaws gun and he was leaning toward trying the Lee TC and that is what I will suggest to him.
