RCBS 180 fp will be one your grandkids can use. It runs more than a Lee but you will never be sorry you bought it. Gianni

Everybody makes good .30 caliber molds. The SAECO 130 gr. .270 bullet has worked very well in a .270 Win. rifle and a .270 max pistol for me. I have to Beagle the mold a thou. for the pistol, but it's fine as it drops for my M70. I have a very old Lyman 280412 single cavity that drops the oddest boolit I can imagine. It is .268 on the so-called bore-riding nose, and something like .283 on the driving bands.

NEI has such a huge selection of patterns you can't help but find one that suits you.

Ditto to MT Charlie's observation.

The RCBS 27-150-SP is very hard to beat in 270 cal and won't hurt your wallet too much. The old Lyman 280412 molds that I got only checked .264 on the nose and 0.283 on the body. I lapped a DD belt (idea freely stolen from Walt Melander)on the single cavity and it now shoots about as good as the RCBS but I have to seat gas checks and size to .278 in 2 steps if I use a fairly soft alloy to keep from mushrooming the nose. Old Ideal and Lyman molds will have interesting dimensions.
