Any of you on here use these Horny brass
for black powder?> My brass is getting pretty
old and 3 split today after about 70-75
loadings...Time to get some new stuff...

I use Starline and usually buy directly from them, but I only shoot .45 2.4 in the big calibers.

I had a few, they were too short.

Are you using them with BP and PP? If so you may want to anneal them every couple of firings. Sizing them down as much as you have to for PP really works them hard.

The hornady 45-70 brass used in their factory ammo is shorter than SAAMI. They trim it back to load their Flex Tip ammo.

Starline is my 1st choice.

I use starline.
that being said I anneal my cases and also fit the brass to the chamber.
I shoot a pedro sharps in 45-90.
I bought it used rechambered from 45-70.
I strech the starline brass .030 to fit.
