I'm considering a six cavity version of the Lee 358-158-RF and am betting some one out here has this mold. Could you answer a few quick questions?

1. Is there a slight bevel on the base? It looks like there is from the bullet image on the Lee site.

2. What is the meplat diameter?

3. What is the crimp to nose length?

4. What does the as cast diameter run, using wheel weight alloy?

Thanks in advance.

I have the lee mould and use the bullet a lot in my S&W 686. Bullet shoots great and doesn't lead the barrel.

1 No bevel
2 Never measured but is wide
3 Don't know
4 For my WW+Tin alloy, about 360, size back down to 358

Maybe someone else is home a can make the measurements.

BeeMan, I have the mold also. Answers to your questions.
#1 Yes a slight bevel.
#2 Meplat about .275,
#3 Crimp to nose about .280.
#4 Diameter in wheelweight metal .360

This is a terrific boolit, you'll like it a lot...Ray
