I took my New Service out today, mostly to relieve stress more than anything else so I took out some handloads I worked up for it. It is a little brisk with the 452424 and 7.5 grains of Unique, especially with these grips and adaptor, still its not too bad and I bet if I ever feel like bench resting it I bet the groups will look a heck of a lot better.

Not bad at all! What year model is that .45?

According to the serial number, 1933, even though it has the earlier tapered barrel.

That is really good! Wow! I'm Impressed. Here is my Ruger in .45 Colt @ 15 yds. 36 rounds . . . and I DID use a rest! I'm not as steady as I used to be. Lyman 255 gr. SWCGC, 8.0 grs. Unique & CCI Lg. pistol primer w/Starline brass.
