What are you guys using for molds? Need something that I can cycle an ar15 with 8"-10" 1/8 twist barrel, will have a take apart tirant 9 on it. Accurate has a 31-245b mold labeled whisper that looks good, anyone try it? Not looking to wait months and months for a group buy, just wanna find something I can order and have in a few weeks.

when i get a blackout bbl i am gonna get a slower twist. [1-10 for me]
but i will use the rcbs 165 silhouette boolit.
1800 fps should be easily doable.

I have the Accurate 245gr boolit, works great in both my sons 300 and mine. We are currently using 12.8gr H4895 and cycling is perfect in both with carbine length gas. This gives a velocity right around 1050fps.

Thats good news, what barrels are you using? (twist/length). Any other info you have would be great. I would like to be able to switch between the heavy boolits and taking off my tirant to run supersonic until I get a dedicated 308 can.

Both are 16" 1-8" twist, one is AR Stoner the other is CMMG.

I use the Lyman 314299 sized to .310" in my Contender 300 Whisper custom 1 in 8" carbine barrel. A little over 200grs and very accurate.
