Scored some Linotype at the scrap yard!

Was cleaning the garage and took a bag of aluminum cans down to the scrap yard. As I was waiting to get my cans weighed, I saw four linotype bars sitting on a shelf. I asked if I could buy them and they said yes. They charged me 46 cents/lb. With the credit for the cans I picked up 90 lbs. for $35!

I had been looking for some Linotype for awhile and finally got some! I know everyone here would appreciate the story.

Nice deal. guess you need to start drinking more canned beverage. $.46 a pound for lino is a good find in its self. I have a hard enough time trying to find scrap yards that will sell to the public. My hats off to you guys that find places like that.
