It looks just like the real deal for stick powder. Not so much for ball and flake powders. I can she how it would be the cat's meow for the long range and sniper guys.

Oh my god!

Don't do that.

That is insane and dangerous.

Extruded powders are made with different sized holes through the length of the kernel to change the surface area of the kernel and thereby the burning rate.

I am not saying you could change 4831 into 4198 but it will increase the burning rate and the result could be ugly.

April fool or not, that post should not be viewed by anyone that might be gullible enough to try it.

There are three to four kernels in one-tenth of one grain of Varget so we will call it thirty-five kernels per grain. An normal 308 Palma load is around 45 grains. So 35 x 45 = 1575 per load. To shoot a day long match you would need to drill 157,500 kernels.

High speed sensitive drill start at about $1,000.00 plus you need a fixture and micro drills. Startup costs would be about $1,500.00.

I don’t think we need to worry about someone actually doing this. :kidding:

These guy always play April Fools very well. Years about the did one about the dimples of golf balls being applied to bullets. At least one major gun rag didn’t realize it was an April Fools and published it. That one lived on the internet for months.

More April 1st fun http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=149320

1500.00 don't sound too bad to me.
i could change all that 4831 to 4895 and make it usefull.
