I want to offer fair price to close friend. The rifle is pretty worn overall/wood refinished etc... but has a decent bore.Sights are not original but it has a Marbles tang in fair shape.

$200-$300????

couple a years ago I traded my nephew out of an SRC in 32 spec. made 1910.

gun was tired but complete with a tang site barrel, as is typical of old 32's, was dark and ugly.

he wanted a shooter so I swapped him a Marlin 336 in 30-30 I paid 200 for.

nice gun poor refinsih but had a scope and shot well and he can buy 30-30 in any wally world.

I have since had a barrel installed, NOS from a run made in the 50's, and found a stock for it a month or so back, original was so dry it had cracked.

Hope this helps with an idea of value.
