Was just over on e-bay looking for a particular Lyman mold and saw this Lee 9mm 6 pack mold WITH handles bid up to $96.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! think maybe there may be a straw bidder in there somewhere????? :veryconfu

You sure that was for 1 mold not 3 :bigsmyl2: the only lee mold I would pay $96 for is the one owned by the General.

Ya I would say straw bidder.

For sure.... for that price, it has to be RARE, and perhaps VINTAGE

Look on flea-bay for the Bator molds. Usually I see them for the "buy it now" price of $44.00 - $56.00. This is for the 2 cavity! mold.

I was watching for some Lyman mold handles.So far all of those that I tried to bid on went for within a buck or 2 of a brand new set. In the last ten years I haven't seen anything that I wanted to bid on,go for much less than new price.Several items went for more than what I could find.These weren't rare or vintage/antique things either,just run of the mill stuff. Every once in a while I watch some things just to remind me why I don't even consider fleabay when buying something.

I know some people that ,everything they buy, comes from fleabay,when asked where else they looked or how much it would be new,they never even looked elseware, Ignorance is Bliss!!!!

sometimes what you find expensive, we in other countries think a steal.

I've seen some of our South Pacific friends mention price and it can be eye opening.

i seen it too ! 96.00 bucks, and it was a used mold at that ! [smilie=w:

Not just used... used current production! I mean, it did come with handles, but jeeze.

I don't fault the seller in any way, I blame the buyers who pay for such things without doing any research.
