I was lucky to get acjacobson to make me one of his great checkmakers in 7 MM. Knowing that .014 alum. was not thick enough for 7 MM [ .253 + .028= .281] I got some of Latherunners .016 rolls [.253+.032=285] works great. Any of you looking for a great tool for 7 MM might try twisting acjacobsons arm. Any one wanting alum. in .016 try Latherunners rolls dead soft and forms great.

hello,

My name is Mike I also live in VA. I heard that you can do custom inserts for 12 gauge shotguns. This post is where :
http://bushcraftusa.com/forum/showthread.php/22806-Shotgun-inserts

I am interested in a large number of long inserts in various calibers. I also have a question about a special insert idea I have for pumps or possibly autos. Wanna talk? email me at snakesssssss@gmail.com

Snakessssss: Hello and welcome to the forum. I am afraid you have me confused with someone else. I believe the guy you are looking for is on GUN BROKER.com.

I was stumbling about looking for chamber adapters (3o carbine in 30-06, etc) and found an outfit that does adapters and shotgun inserts up to 18" in length. Check it out.

That link goes straight to the inserts but you can check out their entire lineup. I emailed them on a Friday evening and heard back from them that same evening. I think it's a small family owned kinda thing.
