I have it in the sizer now, but haven't loaded/shot any yet.
I can tell you it Likes heat!
I have to run the heater at 115º to get it to flow.
Been waiting for warmer weather to try it out. it's been in the teens for a long time.
Going to try it with 9mm, 45 colt, .223 and 45-70, if it ever gets up to 40º +.

I sent about 1k 45 colt boolits to a freind that were lubed with this.
He's on holiday to Fiji for the next month. But he'll let me know if HE likes em ;-)
He has 2 45 colt revolvers - both have throats in the .457" range. I can't stop his leading problem.

I tried both the purple and alox ceresin lubes and they didn't work out with the light loads for me. In the rifle it worked ok. Both required heat to get it to run in the lubesizer and I'll admit it's nice to have a lube that doesn't migrate, but I've learned to live with the mess of the softer lubes due to the performance I have with them.

I’ve been using it for several years. Like Frozone said, it likes heat.
Here in AZ, that’s a good thing. Seems to work well in my 7.5 Swiss, 30-06, and 7.65x45. Pushing all of those boolits out around 2300 FPS.
I also use it in my 45 ACP, 45 Colt and .357, don’t remember the FPS those are flying at off the top of my head. I haven’t had any leading problems but in the pistols, I get a small amount of smoke out of it. I’m using Unique in the pistols and surplus WC852 in the rifles.

ceresin is mined and is a natural rock, mineral [whatever] a lot of it is mixed/cut with parrafin.
i have used the purple and have done well with it.
it takes heat to go, but if you get it too hot man what a mess..
i pushed the purple to about 2100fps before it started giving me trouble.

It's worked fine so far in my .30-30 so I hope it works good in the .45 Colt loads I've been loading too. It is a little harder than I like so I may cut it with some alox and beeswax mix to soften it up a little.

I finally got to the range yesterday and shot some .45LC loads with this lube. I shot everything from 200 rnfp, 300 gr GC's, and 340 gr Lee. All shot well and when I cleaned the guns last night, no leading at all. I was shooting different loads from 850 fps to about 1200 on different boolit weights. Boolits are only about bhn of 10 - 12.

As a little side note: those Lee 340 grainers with 20 grs of H110 Hurt, took some skin off of my trigger finger but the cases just fell out of the Blackhawk. they shot very accurate too.
