Hello....
Till now I shoot 9.3x62 with jacket bullet only, so presently I could only share my load for jacket bullets :
- IMR 3031 52.0 gr.
- norma 286 gr. PPDC (plastic point dual core cupro nickel jkt)
- Metalverken case neck size
- winchester large rifle primers
- cartridge O.A.L. 3.200"
- rifle custom mauser, lothar walter 22" barrel
- group of 5 inside 1.250" at 100 yrd on a good day

When I will receive the new mold I will work out a suitable load for the new boolit 280gr GC and post it.

Hello to all the new owners of the 9.3 mold, anyone try the mold and fire some boolits yet? I just got mine to nite, 3 cavity gas check and I will try to cast this w/end.

I cast up some the other day. I'm fairly new to casting so I had more rejects than keepers but did manage to get enough to do an informal test yesterday. I sized mine .368 to fit my particular rifle's bore diameter. I used a load that I developed when I was shooting some 280 grain hard cast bullets I purchased from an online supplier (who no longer offers that particular boolit).

Disclaimer: This load has proven safe in my rifle. I worked it up carefully watching for signs of pressure, ect. My rifle is a Husqvarna Model 46 chambered for the 9.3x57 in very good condition. Use this information at your own risk.

Cases: 8x57 necked up to 9.3 and trimmed to length.
CCI Large rifle primer
NOE small group buy 280 grain gas checked Boolit with .375 gascheck. Water dropped
27.0 grains Reloader #7

Velocity: Unknown for this load but I did chronograph the previous 280 grain boolit and though I do not have my notes handy, I believe it is about 1400 fps.
Boolit seated to a depth where that gas check was not below the neck of the case. The cartridge feeds well in my rifle.

Results: One ragged hole at 25 yards and minute of beer can at 100 yards for informal practice. This load shoots pretty much right on the iron sights for my rifle. I am going to cast up some more and do a more indepth test. So far, I am delighted with this mold and the boolits it is making.

Finally I cast last nite, made about 100 boolits, wheel weights water dropped, lube and left to dry overnite, this morning install gas check and sized to .367
To size them I used a resizing die for .219 Zipper, cut at the shoulder where is .365 and polish down till got to .367 It work fine crimp the gas check extremely well and after verification the final size is .3673 measured over the gas check.
The only remark I have is that the bottom of the gas check is convex a little, I dont know if would make a difference nor if is good or bad, I am still new at casting.... I will find out when fire test!
I weight 20 finish boolits ( after lube and gas check installed and turn out : 10 boolits weight 290 gr. and 10 boolits 288.5 gr. (+- 1 or 2/10 of grain)

Quite some time ago I bought a 366-260-GCDD NEI mold. It casts a 290 gr bullet using WW. I size to 0.366" (as a 0.367" sizing die is not available). I use Carnauba Red. Mold is cut to use a 35 caliber gas check. Kills deer from the 9,3x62 and from the 9,3x74R double rifle.

Best group is only a decent 2" at 100 yards from the 9,3x62 with PRVI or Graf brass and 56.0 gr of RL-15. Is a fast load as that is close to the same charge I use behind a 286 gr Nosler Partition. 24" Douglas barrel cleans with 3 patches and Shooter's Choice. I think accuracy would be better with sizing at 0.367".

The Chapuis double rifle is close to regulating with a load of 33.6 gr of AA5744. Is a pretty light load in comparison to the 286 gr Nosler heavy hunting load for which it regulates properly. Gives about a 4" group at 50 yards. Again, I think sizing to 0.367 would be better.
