Okay Ladies and Gents,
Just picked up a long time wish list item at this weekends show in Phoenix. I need to start casting ASAP. Looking for mold and load suggestions for this specific platform from those that have been there and done it. I like Bullseye and W231. I am really considering starting with the Lee 358-125RF. I appreciated the help.

My go to 9mm when I had one was 3.2 of titegroup under the Lee 358-150-R. It was pretty sick accurate and recoil was delightful.

My MK3 likes the Lee 120 TC over 3.5gr. Bullseye. Nice light load, but accurate.

That is a really sweet High- Power. I think they are one of the best looking semi-auto's ever made. Congratulations on having a wish come true.

I've lusted for one ever since I saw the movie " SERPICO " but have never been in the right place with the right amount of disposable income to score one. I did luck into an old WWII German P-38 but it isnt a HP by any stretch of the imagination.

Work up some loads and let us know how she shoots.

Good Shooting.....gary

I started with cast in 1976 with Lee 358 105 SWC in a BHP. Worked great.

Today, my std 9mm load uses the Lee 356-120-TC non-tumble lube at .357 or .358
depending on the gun, but most love .358.

You might run into trouble with that Lee 358-125RF in a Hi-Power, I did. A nice bullet with a big meplat. But it kisses the riflings in my HP a little too hard. Don't know what HP you have, mine is an early one with no throating to speak of, definately made for factory jacketed bullets. Also, minor feeding problems with that big flat meplat. Both these problems could be fixed by taking it to a smith and have it throated and having him work over the barrel feed ramp but for me it was easier just to go back to the Lee 125 RN TL bullet which I had been loading and shoots well. Received the Lee 358-125rf yesterday. Cast up a small pile, will commence experimenting on loads tonight. I'll let y'all know how it goes.
