I've been pan lubing my 535g bullets for my 45-70.

I recently purchased a Star lubrisizer for high production of 45LC bullets.

Is anyone using a lubrisizer for these big bullets?

i do with up to 520 gr bullets
to be honest the one bullet i shoot is the 375 gr minie design in 501 dia but sometimes i got a 510 when not holding the mold together tight and then id get bullets stuck trying to size em.

I tried once and never quite got the pressure set correct using SPG. I had trouble with this soft lube squirting to many places.

Yes, all the time. My die was a custom (by a poster here on the site) for the bullet and no lube squirting,

It does help to "prelube" the bullets with a squirt of Lyman spray case lube. I just give a box of bullets a spray and shake them around. They just seem to size easier.

I just recieved a .503 sizing die for the Star from Lathesmith.
.505 go through it really slick.
I also have .514 magma die for my 50-90 Pedersoli Big Fifty.
