Which way is most accurate? I've read and heard both. Some say put the most perfect end (non sprue) in the case because it acts like a rudder in flight.

sprue end in.....but then again, who knows what is going to shoot best for you.

I have tried it both ways, it did not seem to matter that I could tell..

Sprue out should be a little more accurate, but I never could tell a difference so I load them in because it looks prettier. :D

At 25 yards/meters it doesn't matter. At 50 yards/meters it does, but you'll need higher velocity on the 50 yard load, which might make for a slightly less accurate 25 yard load. It depends on your event.

I always load with the sprue out if possible.

Whichever way, do it the same with them all.

I've always loaded sprue end out for the reason that you should have a more consistent base that way. It's the same logic that is used in a nose pour boolit.

I've wondered about this and loaded them sprue in, only because swc, rn, etc all have the sprue in and they shoot fine.

I'm loading half of them sprue out on my next batch of DEWC so I can compare accuracy.

Sprue out. I tell people that I have a custum nose pour mold!
They do shoot better with the sprue out.

Out. Same as with a cap and ball loading balls.
