If you get FCIII tools .008 Litho for 357 and 22. The 22 will work with .00857, .0092, .011, and .0147 aluminum. The .0147 is tight in some models. I haven't tried the .011 Litho plate

It looks like I can get all the .008 litho I want .They are used plates but I hope they will work well because its my favorite price free.

of the two generally available the one that goes in the press I prefer but the other work very well. The press mounted model often has long deliver delays and i would recommended the other.

Yottey,

Lith plate is the best material you will ever find, scarf up a bunch :) Keep in mind that with ANY check making tool if you use material thinner than what the tool is designed for the checks may be loose on your bullet shanks, this is NOT A failing of the tool no matter what anyone says!!!

I use nothing but .008" lith plate for all my checks but only my .22 tool is designed around that thickness material, on the others I either will super glue the checks on (not as much of a pain as you would think and it works well), or I "Beagle" my molds to enlarge the shank diameter for a tighter gas check fit (just do a search for "beagleing" and you will see what I am speaking of).

You WILL get an FC III tool very quickly if Charlie has the caliber(s) you desire in stock and if not he wont take your money till he does which wont be all that long either, that's a statement of fact and NOT an indictment on any other producer of check tools, simple fact along with thousands of satisfied natiknal and international buyers (many of whom I have supplyed lith plate to after they bought their Freechex tools.

litho plate is the stuff.... .008 works fantastic in my .22 checkmaker......... I use 014 amerimax in my 357 and 30 cal home made checkmakers. Shanks fit good and seem to crimp just fine when sized..
