Guys,

I am planning to buy the FF3 and put it in my GP100 6"357mag, but would like to ask for some inputs from the members here before I let go of my money.

A seller here in my place is offering the FF3 in 8moa, and I think the red dot is too big, I'm not really sure about it.

Any ideas will be much appreciated.

For a guy in his fiftys or more, the 8 is perfect for action pistol or combat compitition. For a handgun hunter of any age it would be too large. IMHO.
I have an early FF and love it.

It's all relative. The closer your target is and the faster you are trying to shoot, the bigger the dot can/should be. At 50 yards, your 8moa dot is only about 4". Which is still smaller than any vital part on a deer. If you're hunting squirrels, it's probably too big. If you are trying to shoot deer @ 100yds, it's probably a little on the large side.

Thanks for the input. Is there a selector on the FF3 where you can make the dot smaller? I was thinking maybe the 3MOA is much better for an all around use.
