But I did cast the egg sinkers and split shot to catch these :castmine:
Have not figured out how to cast the floating jig heads at a cost that is less than buying them 100 at a time .

I have been fishing the Maumee River again this spring for the anual Walleye run for years
These 4 ( the limmit ) took me 45 min
I showed up later than I wanted to because of work , but left before any of the other guys I know

YUMMMMMMMMMM they taste good beer battered
I was frying them 30 min after they left the river

OOOOHHHH walleyes are soooo good eating. I spent 2 weeks in Maumee, OH last January at the Eaton Fluid Power Training Center. It was a little chilly that time of year, but there sure were plenty of decent restaurants in the area.

DISGUSTING that you should bring back Lake Erie memories to me! And boy do I remember the jumbo perch, and blue pike. Does anyone know what happened to the blue pike? Looks like a smaller walleye but blue in color, still perch family.

From what I understand
Blue pike are gone :violin: :violin:
They needed clean water
When the lake died from all the polution , they could not make a comeback

44man you are dating your self [smilie=l:
My grand father talked about Blue Pike

Oh BTW I just got 4 more .
That makes my YTD total 39
I have close to 25 lb in the freezer , along with all I have eaten

MMMMMMMMMMM they taste so good
