very nice. Ive got a knife that was made at a local knife manufacture custom for me that has a burl birch handle on it. Id never seen figured birch till then. I saw one sitting on there counter and asked the shop owner what it was. He said burl birch and he had enough for two more knives and one was spoken for. I jumped on it in a second. I get alot of compliments on it.

I like showing my finished work here but I don't want to use the open forum for sells. Send me a PM and we can talk ;-).

David just finished grips for my Lipsey's 44 Special. I like 'em a lot. You can show them pics of them if you want David. I'm too computer ignorant to do it myself. :redneck:

David Swindler made these Bisley grips for me and turn around time was about 10 days. made from curly maple. and he will be makeing some blind sided grips very soon also. and I must say this to anyone thinking about having a set made do it now because david will soon be swamped with orders and you will have to wait months to get a set. I have had grips made by some of the best makers in the U.S.A. in all woods and styles you can think off. also real Ivory and stag horn. and belive me there is none out there any better then davids and some not as good. The man has only been makeing grips for about four months and already his work is ART. from here on out it only gets better. order now while the price is low. work like this will demand much higher fees very shortly. I will be ordering more sets very soon. Thanks for the art work David. Tom

I love this place! We have masters of every craft. To see the work of a master wood crafter is so pleasing.
Swindler, you are top grip dog! :drinks:

" .......... top grip dog!" ..........

........ I'll have to remember that one! LOL!

Swindler,

That's beautiful wood and you are obviously an artist and craftsman with it!! Very good!!

For some reason, I like the darker wood and those deep dark figures rather than the light wood ... not that I don't appreciate the light colors ........ but I just seem drawn to the "dark side" ......

(Maybe I need hep?)

Best regards
