Midway's Got Lee Handles On Sale

Noticed this afternoon when I ordered a mould and got handles with it that Midway's again got the Lee 6-cavity mould handles on sale for $10.99 through April 23.

They also have AA2230 for $9.99/lb in the new flyer.

That kind of ticks me off, thats cheaper than I paid for them using my b-day discount. Missed it by a day or two.

What's this birthday discount at Midway?
Right before your birthday each year after you register on their site, they send you a message with a link that gives you a discount, 10% I think, on most things on their site. It's a one-shot deal, one order only. If your birthday's getting close and you need some things, it's a good idea to save up for a good order then. But it's no guarantee they won't put something on a better sale right after, or that you might not find it at a better price elsewhere.

Surplus ain't exactly cheap either:
8 pounds @ $10 a pound =$80
HazMat $20
Shipping $10

Total $110 or just under $13.75 a pound.

Buying in quantity helps a lot, especially if the shipper will absorb the $20 HazMat.

Thanks for the tip. I ordered three sets. Could have used more, but also ordered a six cavity Lee.
