Anybody ever break the trigger pivot pin on there contender,I had one break and replaced an It broke again 1st time out and I did'nt shoot alot of rounds thru it Its 223 10 in. not a real big boomer anyone have that happen.[smilie=2:

Never had it happen to me. Is it a gen 1 or 2 T/C?

It's the old style easy open model with pin above trigger

That's a new one ! The pin actually fractured? If it's a size that's convenient, I 'd try making a new one from piano wire. It's hard enough but also tough enough that wouldn't fracture.

I can get pin, but was wondering what might be causing it to brake, the last one only lasted one day,I should'nt have to replace like this.

Check the little sleeve in the trigger guard. It has a bump init that actually keeps the pin from falling out. Sometimes they are smoothed out by a punch removing the pin. It can allow the pin to flex when opening and cause it to break. I know mine broke once because of this. When I ordered a new pin they sent me the sleeve also.
