Well my trusty 3 gallon pale every 6 months showed up friday. This is from a a guy who has a very small shop and does only a few tires a week.
Any way up until recently the ZINC wheel weights where over whelming.
generally it was running about 45%lead 30%zinc 25% iron from any of my sources includeing my own shops small tire business.

Friday I was happy to see almost 0 zinc maybe a 1 lb after sorting. A large amount of stick ons, lead and with out weighing aprox 7lbs of iron.

The stick ons are a plus as I need to cast some black powder fodder.

Sounds like welcome news:smile: I picked up a small batch today, there was about 10% zinc, and 5 or so of the steel. I think this will vary quite a bit form one region to another.

for tha last few years the zinc and steel have been really high percentage wise. My last 2 buckets I sorted had more stick on lead wheel weights than usual. and zinc seems to be going down. I been melting my zinc into ignots to resell some day.
