Old Ironsights gave me the 6" that he cut off his 91/30 Mosin. Thanks again!:p

It has 4" of really good rifling. My idea is to cut off the 4" section and externally profile it for a 3" 410 shotgun shell. Internally, I would like to chamber it for 32 S&W or 32 S&W Long. Does anyone have a chamber reamer that I could borrow or rent for a week or so?

I would also like to use the 2" section to make a mini Lee Loader for the above cartridge. It should not be too difficult, as I already have one in 7.62 x54r, so I can use most of the parts. I would just need to profile the 2" into a sizing and bullet seating die (chamber it with the same reamer, and externally thread the piece to make an adjustable bullet seater. How is the crimper formed on the Lee?

Sound interesting?

Thanks!

I just bought a .336 dia chucking reamer from MSC to do mine for about 20 bucks.

That is a good idea!
What did you use to ream/drill the rim?
I was also thinking of pushing it to 32 H&R mag, as brass is more available, but I need to look at the pressures.

I just enlarged a 32 RF chamber but an 2 or 4 flute end mill will probalby do.
