Straight Lino is OK for just about anything, really. I might cut it 50% with WW's, but that's my deal..... enjoy Mike

Straight Lino is a waste of good alloy. Mix it 50/50 with soft lead and it will work great.
I use crimp on wheel weights with a little of tim to make my 45/70 405 g gas checked boolits.

How fast can you push it in a pb boolit? 1200-1500-1800fps before there is leading. THanks JOE

I run quenched ww in my 45-70 gg to 1700fps or so, shoots pretty good.

I shoot way softer Han Lino in a plain base in my 45-70 to over 1600 with good results.
I would use 25 Lino to 75 pure lead in a 45-70 and even that is a bit hard for much use.

Depends what you want to do with the ammo. Shoot targets with mild loads, anything, as long as the fit is good, medium hunting loads, 50/50 ww/lead, hot hunting loads maybe ww, maybe 50/50, depends on the bbolit, load and gun.
