Has any body tried cast 32 acp in one of these critters. Of course I have several RN moulds from 77-90 gr and of course the 100-110 gr fn's that should work. I just had to buy one of these pocket pistols. Thanks, Mark

Mark;
Off subject, but I have been looking at Kel-Tecs, tried a P11, must have the longest and heaviest trigger pull I have seen, how is the trigger on your .32?

Drinks,
Nice and under 5 lbs. It is DA only. The 32 has a slide stop where the 380 doesn't. A friend has the 32 and is a concealed carry instructor and actually recommends this to women because of the light trigger pull. My wife just had carpal tunnel surgery and she will probably take charge of this pistol. Ya know how the women can be. Mark

Mark--

No time with the Kel-Tec, but LOTS of time with the 32 ACP and cast boolits. I use mostly the Lyman #313249 in my Walther PP, and enough Unique to prompt 850 FPS. It tumbles jackrabbits right smartly. The 32 ACP is more accurate by accident than the 380 ACP is on purpose--and that comes from at least a half-dozen pistols in both calibers each. The 32 is SIGNIFICANTLY more accurate.

............This issue of "The Fouling SHot" had an article on the 32 ACP in it.

Cast works fine in them. Beware hot loads as the little pistol will sting you when useing them.

Like Deputy Al, I have a lot of experience with cast in the .32ACP, but not in the KelTec. The 77gr RNL works great. I use Red Dot, primarily, but Bullseye and W231 both work well. One point not mentioned so far is that with the .32ACP, you can lightly crimp the bullet. The .32ACP is semi-rimmed and both guns I have in that caliber headspace fine there. Crimping gave better accuracy for me.

Thanks for the replys. I now have a good starting point. I have a 32 ACP for my Nagants and a Yugo 32 acp whick is a really heavy handgun. The Kel-Tec being a locked breech is new territory for me in 32 ACP. Mark

I've mentioned this here before, but it's been a long time.

Going to our indoor range one evening, I found two members shooting a Walther PPK in .32 ACP. They asked if I wanted to try it, and gave me the gun and a loaded mag. After emptying the little beast into the 50' target, I picked up the brass.

The PPK was operating perfectly with round-nose lead-bullet .32 Smith and Wesson factory loads...rimmed revolver ammo!
