what price is fair for 60/40 clean fluxed Radiator Solder lead ingots?

Hello all,


I am thinking about selling some of my stash of 60/40 cleaned/fluxed radiator solder ingots.


These are mostly going to be 1 lb and 5 lb ingots joined together as 5 -1lbr's.


What is a good going price for remelted/ cleaned/fluxed radiator solder that is all 60/40 PB/Sn per LB?

I have seen it vary from $6 a lb to as much as $14 a lb.

$6.50-$7.50. Tin values have gone down a lot.

Tin Content @ $11.35/lb. * .60 = $6.81
Lead Content @ $1.00/lb. * .40 = $0.40
Total 60/40 solder per lb. = $7.21

I just bought some virgin 60/40 solder bars for around $7.50 per lb., shipped!


Note: Tin is now $10.18/lb, went down all day!
