Here is a pic of my pewter ingots. I melted pewter and an unmarked cup thing with a handle I am sure was pewter into these ingots. These ingots are a gold color, but the camera made it look like a grayish tint. These ingots are also grainy but are very light so it is pewter, Hopefully...

If they're goldish - they're pewter - AKA tin. Yay !! enjoy Mike

They have tin because they are LIGHT as a feather compared to lead and it melts easier than lead.

You're learning, The melt temp is easiest clue. Nice ingots. Now be sure to mark them with a magic marker, sharpie etc... or you'll forget which is which. Rather than mark I use a different ingot mold for my tin rich stuff. It's a brass candle holder and it makes nice "thimble" shaped ingots and the brass cools off quick. I set the base in a pan of water and it hardens the little ingots real fast. 10 ga
