Prices from an auction I attended recently
Pair of 1958 SAA Colts, .38 SP like new, consecutive S# w/ custom case $3950
Colt 125th Aniv. SAA .45LC NIB $1200
Colt 1893 First Gen. SAA .44/40 Colt factory restoration w/ paper work, stag grips $1300
Colt Frontier Six, .44/40 ,Colt Custom Shop #56 of 250 $2100
Colt 1963 SAA .45LC, stag grips NIB $1550
Colt 1972 SAA .357, orig. and stag grips NIB $1500

Colt 1979 SAA .45LC NIB $1300
Colt 1993 SAA .44/40 NIB $1000
Colt SAA .44SP orig. and stag grips NIB $2250
Colt 1984 SAA .45LC NIB $1450
Colt Frontier 22 cal. state Seq. models prices ranged from $450---$600 24 total Colts sold. Quite a sale. All Colts were collectors/ investment, could only be handled with gloves under supv. , for the most part nobody handled anything. No drag lines on the cyl. A few lever guns also sold plus others, 16 in total.

Most gun auctions around here have more pick-up trucks parked outside than guns inside. I keep telling myself to NOT go but mostly I still do. I have not bought a gun in a very long time because I don't get caught up in auction fever. Those prices seem about normal. The best auction going right now is the 24/7 auction known as the internet, if you are patient and set a price you will pay, good things come to those that wait.
