I have a note written down from another forum maybe ? Saying that the bearing is a Timpken BH 1610.

Maybe that will help you indirectly. At least you can buy it locally cheaper than from Dillon.

Hate to resurect a thread this old, but the BH-1610 is the smaller bearings that takes 2 for the machine. Where you able to find a number for the big @3" needle bearing?

If you have the OD, ID and depth these folks can fix you up. https://bearingsdirect.com/169-roller-bearings

I ended up going by a bearing shop today. They said they could get the bearing, they measured it and found a replacement that they could order. $100 bucks for the one they found. I read in another place that the bearings aren't supposed to be a precision fit. I bought the press used years back and it had slack then, do they have some slack when the presses are new?

The number is the size, in 16ths of an inch.
1610 is 1" ID (16 16ths=1inch)
1610 is 5/8" long (10/16=5/8 inch)

Like this J1010

The same goes for bushings...
just sayin'

Just make sure your bearing is worn out. You might find like i did when i replaced the two smaller bearings that the new ones were just as loose.

I think its in the design of the press. After all this was the replacememt of the RL1000 that retailed for more than double the price.
