I see that CDNN has these AR-15 type magazines, the 20 rd. cap., for $4.00. That is almost throwaway price.

Are these any good?

I can't imagine they would be but I have been surprised before.

At that price try a couple and post a review!

From what I have heard, stay away.

They are ok when new, but don't hold up real good. I have a couple 30 rounders, but rarely use them as I have a bunch of surplus mags

"If it sounds too good to be true....it probably is"

"You get what you pay for."

I've never tried one and most likely will not. USGI are normally around $10 and PMAGs are around $14. I'd go with a proven performer.

I've used them, no problems in most guns, but I do have one AR which has a very tight
mag well and the 20 rd Thermax is very tight.

I have used the 30s and 20s with no problems at all.

I have used the 30 round Thermold mags in my Colt HBAR and they were good. I didn't see them as fragile but I'm careful with all of my things.

I've used the 10 rounders( they are ok), can't have 20's in my state.

I have a handful I bought at the 2.99 price. They do very well for what they cost. Master Molder was the original maker of these mags and they don't melt like the Canadian ones because they use the correct plastic.
