Peabody Rifle .43 Spanish-Parts Needed

I have a Peabody that had it's forend shortened and need a replacement forend as well as the upper band, band spring and cleaning rod. The forend was cut about 3 inches above the lower band which is still intact. Any ideas of repairing this with a skilled wood smith or ideas on where I can find a replacement forend. Have you checked with Providence tool company?

They are making those rifles again, possibly their parts would interchange with yours.

Yes Sir, I checked with Providence Tool but unfortunately they are producing sporting and not military versions of this piece and cannot provide the long military forend needed.
