A piece of 400-grit Emery paper, some oil, a split dowel rod, and a cordless drill will make a .338" into a .339" very quickly.

lot cheaper than a custom made too

that covered it.
go slow, measure, then guage how much MORE you need.
if you aren't sure about doing it.
buckshot or lathesmith can make EXACTLY what you want and most likely cheaper than a new one.

That did cross my mind, but wouldn't that allow the lube to then flow up along side of the Now undersized stud or whatever we're calling that piece the boolit rides on top of.

The additional .001" shouldln't cause any problem. Any more than that, you might.

If you are wanting a Lyman type, it's Buckshot or Lathesmith. Happyness is but a PM away.
All nice, new and bright too.

dunno i use stars.
i would imagine you could make a little styrofoam gasket, for the bottom, from a meat tray thingy

Unless its essential you have a G/H die in .339, Lee makes
the push thru dies in .339

I use them and they work.
