Brand new M48 barrels $55

Widners is selling new Serbian barrels for the M48 and also SKS, either are $55! Pretty good price!

They also have some 142 gr .308 tracers that "USUALLY" don't light, they say 5% light... $80/1000 plus haz mat. The tracer compound is there so they have to charge the haz mat.

A few years ago, I needed a new barrel for my Yugo M48. I purchased a "take-off" barrel from Numrich, sold as a used take-off, in very good to excellent condition. I paid $28, plus $6 for shipping.

The barrel I received was, essentially, NEW. That is, an original M48 barrel, proofed by the factory.....but clearly NEVER mounted on a rifle. Pristine condition, inside and out. A roughly 50 year old, new barrel. This barrel still resides on my M48. As I rebuilt the rifle into a sporter, I cut and crowned the barrel at 18".

It is a GREAT barrel. Very accurate.

Since your drooling over them it's obvoius you have more than a passing interest in them . You may not need to replace the barrel in the rifle you have but you should consider the action and other parts that will come to you in some "deal" in the future .

Therefore , make it easy on yourself and order four of them to serve future needs that you will have for them . Please remember that Garans parts kits sold for a hundred sixty bucks not many years ago . Also , Brand new 1903A3 barrels were selling for less than eighty bucks not many years past .

I have magazine with 2 groove 1903a3 barrels for less than $3.00!! They are very old magazines.

Has anyone ordered or recieved one of these barrels yet? I ordered one on 3-9 and have not heard or seen anything, time for a call I guess.
