I bought these for the projectiles way back when. I'm curious if you think selling them for 100/$20 to 30 would be feasable. They're ugly, no doubt about it. I'm just pulling for the projectiles as I don't have a CZ52(?) but I've got other compatable carts. I'm thinking they are salvage. but I've read my old posting and there was some interest. I'd rather see it go to this community, to be honest. Honest answers only and don't fill my PM as I'm working on a rifle right now thanks to going to swapin' & sellin' first. Sheesh! :bigsmyl2:

I would try to sell them first. Not much of that ammo out there for this catridge anymore. If no one wants it, then pull them for components.

Are they 7.62x45 or 7.62x25? 7.62x25 is what a CZ52 pistol is chambered for.

Sell them. I have a cz52 rifle and ammo is scarce as hens teeth. Usually get 50-75 cents a round.. I have a quantity of the same stuff but am gearing up to reform 220 swift. Basically I am going to sell my stash and that will pay for everything to change over to boxer prime brass. The cz52 rifle is a very neat design. It's too bad they made so few 52/57's chambered in 7.62x39. If all the cz52's were chambered in 7.62x39 they would be very popular..

is it brass or steel?

Steel, Chech(sp?) I believe and the larger 7.62x45 rifle cartridge. I was going to pull the jacketed rounds and toss the rest on the lawn as these look sketchy at best. I think the caliber interested parties have problems finding compatable head dimensions and cartridge lengths for hand loading. I'm not too sure. (ETA:Reading further I see 220 Swift, nice. Thanks for the insight!)

I got these particular ones from Paragon and they've sat in the cardboard and are sorta rusty. I'll have to take a picture now and figure out how to post it. Danged 21st century.

These are VERY corrosive. It's pretty common to find cz's in rough shape because of this. BTW you can make 7.62x45 out of 6.5x54MS(works the best) 6.5 carcano-35 remington-220 swift. All except the MS take a bit of lathe work on the rim and the base.

Sell'em. Why waste the time to pull them when you can sell them as is and then go buy what you want.
