Hello,

I used to have a .45 muzzleloader and gave it to my lil' bro and new sister-in-law for a wedding present. It was the first firearm she fired ever.

My bro isn't into casting and never will be. I have two .440" molds, one with handles and one just being the blocks.

They are Lyman and prior.

Been thinking about selling one and keeping one. However, I can't find any listed and don't know what to start as a selling price.

Both are in excellent condition.

Anyone have any idea what one of these suckers is worth?

Thanks,

Josh

Check e-bay they usually have a couple for sale all the time. Should be able to get an idea of value.

look in the sale area. Many have been bought and sold there. Condition,w or w/o handles,2cav,single. ? Im sure you will find several that fit the discription of the one you want to sell and get an idea. Worse case, put a price and or best offer.

They are pretty common moulds and don't usually bring allot but still worth something. I'd say something like $25-35 for mould without handles. About $10 more with handles. Who knows on ebay though, they could be vintage and that at least doubles the price!

I sized some down to shoot in 44 revolvers. A little oblong but shootable.
