I found an old receiver sight, I'm thinking about ebaying. I don't have the base. it is smaller than most and has a lever that locks the elevation. you loosen and tighten a screw for windage adjustments. not set up for pictures. anybody know who made the sight with the lever?

flounderman, it could be a Lyman #42. If it is, I would like to buy it.

I don't have the base for it. just the slide and the aperature part. it's for sale. I remember them from years ago but haven't seen one for ages. found it along with a front sight that has a set screw in the dovetail, in an envelope with some other parts. I can look it over better and see if I can find any kind of id on it. Daryl

Isn't the lever attached to the base? Is there any chance you could get someone to take and post a picture?

the lever is attatched to a bolt thru the slide. the sides of the slide are square so the base must have lips on the slot to hold it, or the bolt goes thru the base to the slide. no name on the part I have. probably on the base, I don't have. I will see about posting a picture.
