I have a SRH in 41mag, I am looking for some data on a lbt 240 gr WFN-GC.

I have tried tite group so far with it and does not look real promising. any other load someone would suggest trying would be a big help and time saver.

Thank you for any input.

Charlie:
You didn't say wheather you wanted heavy loads or practice loads. For full house, I use H110/W296. Or, you can use the long time favorite Alliant 2400.
For target work and light plinking, 8 grains of Unique or H Universal.
You can go to the Handloads.Com, click on "Load Data" at the top. Lots of loads listed there.

I used to shoot 19.5 gr IMR4227 under a gas-checked NEI 238 grainer for sillywhets. Load would easily hold 2" groups from my 8" DW and would take down 200m rams like a sledgehammer.

Greetings
My DW 41 Mag is right fond of 21 grains of 296 with boolits around the 220-240 grain area. This was the load I used in 1984 to win the Illinois AAA sillywet revolver when the Danville Range held the state matches. Was using 1680 under a 265 grainer last time up to get a load ready to pop piggies.
The thing with the DW is to plan on running the boolit fast. That 18.5 twist is great with cast but you have to think fast to get top accuracy.

What I have used
h110/296--240 21-22 gr killed a deer with 22/ 296/ 240 LwNGC also accurate
AA#9 17-18 gr about the same as 2400 accurate
velocity tend to run 1360 and up dpending on the gun usually used a WWLP Primer
these are all wdww normally

work up to these
