View Full Version : Boolit mold for Tokarev AND Nagant?

I just bought a Tork (Norinco Tokarev) and a crate of S&B surplus ammo. I'm also thinking of getting a Nagant revolver.

Is there a bullet mold that I could use to do both? I've searched the threads and the Lee 100gr sounds promising.

Ralph H's threads mention sizing Nagant bullets to .312, is that ok for all pistols of the caliber?

I should mention that I haven't decided what type of brass to use yet, .32 S&W long or H&R or 32-20, or even the 7.62x38. I'm just testing the water to see how

Thanks;
Scott

If the boolits loaded in the cases will chamber freely, that will be fine. The upper limit on diameter is set by the loaded case necks' fit in the chamber.

Lucky,

Let me know how the Lee 100gr works in the Tok. I have a CZ52 in 7.62X25 that I am itching to shoot something in besides surplus.

I used the Lee 113g FN bullet in mine. I can't say it worked great but it worked well as far as reloading goes because of the size and flat point. Not sure how well my Nagant shoots yet because I haven't loaded and shot much.

I use the Lee 100 gr.---.311 2r in the CZ52 Tokarev--- Works fine---- It should also work in the Nagant---- And as Ricochet said size to fit chamber---Mag

I use the Lee .311-100-2R in a CZ52 in cal. 7,65 X 25 with excellent accuracy. With the same boolit in the Nagant revolver I can keep most shots in 8" at 15 yd. Considering the twenty mule team trigger, that's not too bad.
