I love that Mihec HG 68 mold for the 45 that I have started casting with. I am wondering if there is a mold that is a proven standard for both the 40 SW and the 9 MM luger. Since the 40 smith is a relatively new cartridge, I'm sure that there isn't a historic standard. I'm kind of interested in a SWC design for each.

It might be cool to see if you could just scale the H and G 68 down for each? Might not work, just a thought.

H&G made the 332, a 40 cal version of the 68. It is now the Ballisticast #932.

Tom at Accurate Molds makes one very close to the 332... his mold number 40-150H...

Do you guys think this would be a good group buy discussion? I would love to have a brass 4 cavity about 160 Gr. SWC in the 40.

There is a current 160 gr rn 40 noe group buy going on.

Always carry, never tell.

Why bother with a group buy? If Accurate Molds has the design you want, you can get it in a 4 cavity brass mould, and have it next week!

In a 9mm I shoot the LY 356402 and the 358242 124 gr versions. The rn 242 is slightly more accurate in my CZ.
