Does anyone know what the difference is among the 3 different Lee powder dippers? I have the yellow plastic set but I've seen black sets and red sets on ebay. If there is enough difference it might be worth having another set or two rather than making my own.

I have the red set and the yellow set and yes there is a difference. I forget exactly but it is the measurment used. One is in CCs and the other is in something else. It gives me a better selection. I'm not 100% sure but I think the black ones are just the red ones of a different color.

I love their dippers - get them all! If there is something you don't have, sacrifice a case and solder wire for a handle.
take care,

LEE's first set had just numbers, and the newer yellow ones have the volume in CC.
If you have LEE's reloading manual he explains it all.
Pretty smart if you ask me.

One set was marked in cubic inches, I think it was the red one, but am not sure. I have the 15 piece set of yellow dippers, anything I can't do with that I make a specific dipper out of a used cartridge case and solder a piece of brazing rod on it for a handle.
If I found one of the other sets, cheap; I might pick it up, but I'm not looking very hard.

I love the lee dippers; no info on the difference, but I just had to say it.
