Hello,

I dug out my old T/C Maxi-ball mold from the mid 70's tonight, something I have not used since 1978. As a teenager, I did not pay much attention to the marking on the mold, hey the box was right. Now that I look at it, the mold says Lyman .60cal 812. I have a .50 cal. The mold measures about .503.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Must be a mis-stamped mold, the 812 must be the block number. I have a couple of the original T/C aluminum molds for the .50 including a maxi-hunter.

The T/C moulds usually weren't marked with the size. The numbers on the mould were just to keep the two matching halves together during production.
