Help needed - Savage 220 bolt

I have a Savage 220 bolt action 20Ga. in for repairs [misfires]. I know what the problem is and how to correct it. What I am not sure of is how to disassemble the bolt. This bolt is not like the bolts in other Savage modles which have a threaded end cap with a slot or allen head for removal. It appears that the firing pin protrudes thru this end cap. None of my books show this model shotgun and I cannot find any disassembly instructions anywhere on the web. Any of you smiths worked on this model bolt before?
